
Primary Elections - March (presidential years) or May
General Elections - November
Special Elections - February or August

You must:
- be a registered Voter in Miami County
- complete required training every 3 years for Precinct
Judges, every 2 years for Presiding Judges.
- must attend the
appropriate training sessions if you are a new Elections
Official or Judge.
- have voted in a Primary Election
and declared your politics. (either democrat or republican)
- enjoy
working with people available for current election

You will also be asked if you would be willing to work in
an area outside of your polling location.
We always need people
who are willing to "float" to other precincts.

Tuesday, Election Day, 6:00 a.m. to 8:00pm. 
Precinct (regular) Judges receive $85.00 per election.
The
Presiding (head) Judge receives $95.00 per election, plus
a mileage stipend for picking up the precinct supplies prior
to election day and returning all voting material after
the close of polls on election night.
All training sessions are paid a minimum of $10.00 per session.
